Title: Nigerian Orphanage Homes Sports Festival 2012:- Organised by Challenged Children Charity Foundation (3CF) in Collaboration with National Sports Commission (NSC), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women affairs and Social Development.

About us:

Orphanage Homes Sports Festival (OHSF) is established as a grass root sports activity for Orphans at the Orphanage Homes in the six geo-political zones of the country, Nigeria. Designed to give orphans a sense of pride, dignity and hope for a brighter future.

Mission Statement:

To empower orphans through sports and education

Vision Statement:

To establish programmes and events for orphans through sports and education

Objectives:

             To use the platform to enlighten youth on peaceful co-existence with one another and conflict resolution

             Using the atmosphere to create wealth, health awareness on HIV/AIDS, malaria, polio and TB

             To facilitate development in sports with the participation of parents and other supportive adults in the playing atmosphere

             To use the platform to encourage regular networking with organisations and agencies

             To make this event an annual sports festival

             To enable orphans fulfil their potential in sports and education

Target Group:

Orphans (children/youth) between the ages of 6-17 years

Membership:

Any orphanage Home in the six geo-political zones of the country is eligible
