       Internship and Volunteering  



Interns must be computer literate and undergraduate student at an accredited university, have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, have completed two semesters of college-level.


Interns maybe of any academic or national background who will work in the capacity building programmes.


Through our volunteering and internship programme, we aim to raise international awareness of poverty challenges that face Africa and to give interns and volunteer the opportunities to contribute to eradication of poverty, participants in our internship and volunteer programme come from any country in the world.



Interns coming from outside Africa pay into a fund for the support of Nigeria interns as follows: $350 per month for  those who stay three months and $300 per months for those who stay up to seven months and a flat $3000 for those who stay for eight months or longer. Such interns will have to cover all their living and other expenses while in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria.


Examples of activities available includes teaching English, Proposal writing, Health Education e.g HIV, Malaria, TB prevention, capacity building projects, Enlightenment programmes on business strategies for youths, teaching orphanage children varieties of subjects, gender and environmental issues



Participants are advised to apply 3 months in advance so that a well structured internship can be organized. You will need to pay administration fees as indicated below to enable us to process your application and organized contacts with potential host organization. You will also need to complete an application form and provide a CV. All this must be sent to us with a covering letter explaining your interest in or expectations from your work placement.


You are expected to meet all your living, accommodation and travel expenses. After receiving these materials when necessary.


We may arrange an interview with you on phone about your goals and interest. We work only in Federal Capital Territory, Abuja Nigeria. Typically, placement is made within three months from the time of completed application is received. The duration of the work placement is from 1 week to 12months anytime through the year.

And the programme will help them understand the complexity, challenges and constraits with regards to achieving the millennium development goals in Nigeria West Africa.


It will not only adds to their experiences thereby contribute to socio economic development in Africa but will also contribute to your personal and profession development.


After successful completion of internship/volunteer placement, the participant receives a certificate.
